MTN Nigeria and Tecnotree announce partnership

Digital business support systems (BSS) specialist Tecnotree is in the news again, this time after it announced a partnership with operator MTN Nigeria on a new initiative called Metamorphose.

MTN Metamorphose is described as a transformation programme to enhance the company’s digital presence for consumers and enterprises. It’s powered by Tecnotree’s digital suite.

This initiative, says Tecnotree, will transform MTN’s business and digital processes with a strategic approach to people and technology. The programme’s objective is to adapt to customer needs, improve customer experience, and become the enabler of digital life through tailored customer-centric offerings.

Tecnotree's flagship digital stack is described as open, inclusive, dynamic and 5G-ready. It has AI/ML capabilities and cloud extensibility that have transformed applications and services beyond connectivity.

It conforms to TM Forum Open API standards with reduced opex, which makes it easy to quickly deploy innovative and personalized multi-experiences in response to market demand. A catalogue-driven approach supports the launch of new bundles in days instead of months, converting ecosystem partners into instant revenue generators across health, education, gaming and esports.

MTN Metamorphose – powered by Tecnotree is an automation-driven solution that will enable dynamic and improved user experience and enhanced 360-degree customer view. It will also modify existing workflows, improve the productivity of the workforce through personalized dashboards, and provide omnichannel engagement and user journey optimization, with improved order management.

As we reported yesterday, Tecnotree  is the first non-telco to be certified for real-world Open API implementation on the leader board for TM Forum Open API Conformance.
